Rann Of Kutch Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Bhuj. Transfer to your resort in Dhordo. In the evening visit the white Rann at Dhordo. Overnight in Dhordo
Arrival in Bhuj: Start your journey by arriving in Bhuj, a historic city known for its vibrant culture and handicrafts.

Transfer to resort in Dhordo: From Bhuj, you’ll travel to a traditional Bhunga style resort in Dhordo.

White Rann visit: In the evening, visit the stunning White Rann of Kutch. As the sun sets, the salt flats reflect the changing colors of the sky, creating a mesmerizing landscape. The beauty of the White Rann under a full moon is even more breathtaking.
Day 2: Day trip to Dholavira via Road to Heaven. En route, visit Kala Dungar also known as black hill. At Dholavira visit Indus Valley site and Fossil Park. Return to your resort in Dhordo for the night
Kala Dungar (Black Hill): After breakfast, embark on a road trip to Dholavira. En route, stop at Kala Dungar, the highest point in Kutch. The panoramic views of the Great Rann of Kutch from this hill are captivating, and the location also holds religious significance due to the Dattatreya temple.

Road to Heaven: Experience this scenic route known for its vast stretches of barren landscapes and a surreal atmosphere, perfect for photography.

Dholavira: Reach Dholavira, an ancient site of the Indus Valley Civilization. Don’t miss the fossil park, which offers a glimpse into the ancient geological history of the region.

Overnight Stay: Return to Dhordo for the night
Day 3: Visit Nirona Village in the morning and meet the local artisan families who practice Rogan painting, lacquered art work and make copper bells. After that head to Bhuj and as per time available visit Swaminarayan Temple, Smritivan or Bhujodi. Drop at Bhuj railway station/bus stop in the night
Nirona Village: In the morning, visit Nirona Village, a hub for traditional Kutch craftsmanship. Interact with local artisans who practice Rogan painting, an ancient art form involving castor oil-based paint. You’ll also see lacquered wooden art and hear the melodic sounds of hand-forged copper bells.

Return to Bhuj: After the cultural experience at Nirona, head back to Bhuj. Depending on the time available, visit some local attractions like:

Swaminarayan Temple: A beautiful, serene temple with intricate carvings.

Smritivan Earthquake Memorial: A tribute to the lives lost in the 2001 earthquake, offering insightful information on Bhuj’s recovery.

Bhujodi: A nearby village known for its traditional weavers and textile crafts, offering a chance to purchase authentic souvenirs.

Drop-off: You will be dropped off at Bhuj railway station or bus stop in the evening to conclude your journey.

20 days before the event start date: No Refund
20- 40 days before the event start date: 50% Refund
Before 40 days of the event start date: 75% Refund

Balance amount to be paid 30 days before the trip start date.
Booking amount is non refundable. Balance amount will be deducted/refunded/transferred as per the standard cancellation policy

Cancellation/Amendment by the Participant during the tour
Incase you are unable to continue with the tour due to any health conditions or acclimatisation issues or any other issue, any expenses on alternate arrangements made have be borne by you and TGE is not liable to pay for transportation, accommodation, hospitalisation, meals or any other expenses incurre
