Itinerary

Day 1: Land in Colombo. Transfer to Hikkaduwa. Evening at leisure in Hikkaduwa (Laze at the beach, snorkel etc) Overnight in a resort in Hikkaduwa

You’ll arrive in Colombo and transfer to Hikkaduwa, a coastal town known for its vibrant beach scene. After checking into your resort, spend the evening at the beach. Unwind with a stroll along the golden sands, or take the chance to snorkel in the clear waters, where you can spot colorful coral, tropical fish, and even sea turtles. Relax at the resort afterward, enjoying the serene atmosphere as you prepare for the days ahead.
Day 2: Day trip to Galle. Visit Galle Fort and Galle Lighthouse. After that, visit the Unuwatuna beach. Return to Hikkaduwa for the night

You’ll start with a scenic drive from Hikkaduwa to Galle, a historic city rich in culture and colonial charm. The journey itself is a pleasant one, with views of the coastline and glimpses of local life.

Once in Galle, spend the day exploring the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Galle Fort. Wander through its narrow, cobblestone streets, lined with Dutch colonial buildings, quaint cafes, and boutique shops. The fort’s sturdy ramparts offer stunning views of the ocean, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely walk.

You can visit the Galle Lighthouse, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, and explore the various museums and galleries that tell the story of Galle’s vibrant past. The atmosphere here is a blend of old-world charm and contemporary culture, making it a fascinating place to explore.

After soaking in the history and charm of Galle, you’ll head to Unawatuna Beach, a beautiful crescent-shaped bay known for its golden sands and calm waters. Spend some time relaxing on the beach, taking a swim, or simply enjoying the laid-back atmosphere.

Return to Hikkaduwa for the night
Day 3: Hikkaduwa at Mirissa. Potential stops at the stilt fishermen in Weligama or the serene Koggala Lake. Explore the nearby coconut palm plantations or take a short trip to the picturesque Parrot Rock. Leisure evening a Mirissa beach. Overnight in Mirissa

You’ll travel from Hikkaduwa to Mirissa, with potential stops at the stilt fishermen in Weligama or the serene Koggala Lake. You can also explore nearby coconut palm plantations or take a short trip to the picturesque Parrot Rock for panoramic views.

Upon arriving in Mirissa, spend your evening relaxing on Mirissa Beach. Enjoy the golden sands, take a swim in the clear waters, and watch the sunset over the ocean.

You’ll then spend the night in Mirissa, taking in the coastal beauty and serene atmosphere.
Day 4: Early morning whale watching tour at Mirissa. Evening at leisure at Mirissa beach OR visit the Secret beach and the Jungle beach. Overnight in Mirissa

Start your day with an early morning whale watching tour from Mirissa, where you might spot blue whales and dolphins as they frolic in the ocean.

After returning, you’ll have the rest of the day to unwind. You can spend the evening relaxing at Mirissa Beach, or if you prefer a bit of exploration, visit Secret Beach and Jungle Beach. Secret Beach offers a secluded retreat with clear waters and soft sands, while Jungle Beach, accessible via a short hike through lush forest, provides a tranquil and picturesque setting.

End your day enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of Mirissa, either on the main beach or at one of the quieter, hidden spots.
Day 5: Mirissa to Tissamaharama ( Yala National Park). Evening safari at Yala National Park. Overnight in Tissamaharama

You’ll travel from Mirissa to Tissamaharama, a gateway town to Yala National Park. The journey offers glimpses of rural Sri Lanka, with lush landscapes and local villages along the way.

Upon arriving in Tissamaharama, you’ll check into your accommodation and prepare for an exciting evening safari at Yala National Park. This renowned park is famous for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, leopards, and a variety of bird species. The evening safari offers a chance to see these animals in their natural habitat as the cooler temperatures bring them out of hiding.

After your safari, you’ll return to Tissamaharama for the night, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s wildlife encounters.
Day 6: Tissamaharma to Colombo airport drop. If time permits, stop by at Dikwella swings and Hummanaya blow hole.

you’ll travel from Tissamaharama to Colombo airport for your departure. If your schedule allows, you can make a stop at the Dikwella swings and the Hummanaya Blowhole along the way.

The Dikwella swings offer a picturesque and fun spot for a quick break, with swings positioned to overlook the beautiful coastline.

The Hummanaya Blowhole, located near Dikwella, is a natural wonder where waves forcefully shoot water through a rock formation, creating a spectacular spray.

Enjoy these stops if time permits before continuing on to Colombo airport for your flight.

20- 40 days before the event start date: 50% Refund
Before 40 days of the event start date: 75% Refund
