Itinerary

Day 1: Land in Denpasar International Airport. Transfer to Ubud. Evening in Ubud Market. Overnight in Ubud

Upon landing at Denpasar International Airport, you will transfer to Ubud, a journey that typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive and check into your accommodation, you can relax and freshen up. In the evening, head to the vibrant Ubud Market to explore local crafts, souvenirs, and art. Afterward, visit the nearby Ubud Palace, where you can experience the traditional Legong dance performance. This captivating dance, known for its intricate finger movements and expressive gestures, is a highlight of Balinese culture. Finally, return to your accommodation for an overnight stay in Ubud.
Day 2: Ubud sightseeing. Overnight in Ubud

Today you’ll explore the highlights of Ubud and its surroundings.

Begin with an early morning adventure to Mt. Batur. Opt for either a sunrise hike, which offers breathtaking views of the sunrise from the summit, or a 4×4 vehicle experience if you prefer a less strenuous option.

Next, make your way to the Bali Swing for an exhilarating experience soaring above the jungle canopy on various swings. Capture unforgettable moments amidst the lush surroundings.

In the afternoon, venture to the picturesque Tegallalang Rice Terraces to witness the stunning landscapes of tiered rice paddies. Take a leisurely walk through the terraces, learn about traditional rice cultivation, and enjoy the tranquility of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

For an added thrill and exploration, consider an ATV ride through the surrounding countryside, offering a fun and adventurous way to discover more of Bali’s natural beauty OR visit Tirta Empul Temple, known for its sacred spring water used for cleansing rituals. Explore the temple complex, watch locals perform spiritual purification rituals, and take in the serene atmosphere.

After a fulfilling day of cultural exploration and natural beauty, return to Ubud for a relaxing evening and another overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s experiences and preparing for more discoveries in Bali.
Day 3: Visit Ulun Danu Lake, Banyumala Waterfall & Haridara Gate. Overnight in Ubud

Begin with an early departure from Ubud towards Bedugul. Here, you’ll discover the serene Ulun Danu Beratan Temple nestled on the shores of Lake Beratan, offering breathtaking views and insights into Balinese culture.

After exploring the temple, enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant in the Bedugul area, taking in the scenic surroundings.

Next, venture to Banyumala Waterfall, a hidden gem tucked amidst lush greenery. A short hike leads you to this tranquil spot, where you can unwind and swim in refreshing pools.

In the late afternoon, visit Handara Gate (Haridara Gate), renowned for its picturesque Balinese architecture framed by verdant mountains. Capture memorable photos at this iconic location.

Return to Ubud in the evening, where you can relax and dine at one of the town’s charming eateries, reflecting on the day’s enriching experiences.
Day 4: Ubud to Gili T. Enjoy a leisure day at Gili T. Overnight in Gili T

Depart from Ubud for an exciting journey to Gili Trawangan, one of the three idyllic Gili Islands known for their pristine beaches and vibrant underwater life. Begin your day with a scenic transfer to the coastal town of Padang Bai, where you’ll board a fast boat for a picturesque crossing to Gili Trawangan. Upon arrival, settle in and immerse yourself in the island’s laid-back atmosphere. As no vehicles are allowed on the island, take the opportunity to stroll or rent a bicycle to explore at your leisure. Spend your day snorkeling in the clear turquoise waters, cycling around the island to discover its charming cafes and sandy beaches, or simply relaxing on the shores. As evening falls, indulge in the island’s nightlife or savor a peaceful dinner by the sea. Overnight in Gili Trawangan, where you can unwind and soak in the island’s serene ambiance, enjoying a vehicle-free environment that enhances its tranquil charm.
Day 5: Gear up for a snorkeling Tour around Gili Meno & Gili Air. Overnight in Gili T
Embark on a captivating snorkeling tour around the Gili Islands, starting from Gili Trawangan. Explore three iconic snorkeling spots:

Turtle Point: Encounter magnificent sea turtles in their natural habitat and observe their graceful movements underwater.

Coral Gardens: Immerse yourself in vibrant coral reefs adorned with an array of colorful fish, offering a breathtaking glimpse into marine life.

After exploring the underwater beauty of Gili Trawangan, continue your adventure by visiting Gili Meno and Gili Air, the other two islands of the Gili archipelago. Gili Air, with its laid-back vibe and picturesque views, invites you to explore its charming beachfront cafes and enjoy a leisurely afternoon by the sea. Return to Gili Trawangan in the evening and unwind amidst the island’s serene ambiance. Overnight in Gili Trawangan
Day 6: Gili T to Nusa Penida. Full day Nusa Penida sightseeing. Overnight in Seminyak

Start your day early with a departure from Gili T, where you’ll board a speedboat to Nusa Penida. The journey across the water offers glimpses of Bali’s coastline before arriving at the rugged shores of Nusa Penida. Upon disembarking, you’ll be greeted by your local guide who will accompany you throughout the day.

Begin your exploration with a visit to Kelingking Beach, famous for its stunning T-Rex shaped cliff and turquoise waters below. Continue to Broken Beach, a natural bridge formation offering panoramic ocean views, and nearby Angel’s Billabong, where you can swim in natural tide pools. Afterward, head to the picturesque Diamond Beach, known for its white sand and crystal-clear waters. Conclude your day at Atuh Beach, surrounded by towering cliffs and featuring unique rock formations. In the evening, take a speedboat back to Sanur and then transfer to Seminyak, a vibrant beach town known for its upscale shopping, dining, and nightlife
Day 7: Full day Uluwatu sightseeing. Visit Uluwatu temple. Overnight in Seminyak.

Begin with a leisurely breakfast in Seminyak, setting the stage for a day of exploration focused on Uluwatu. Depart from Seminyak and head south towards Uluwatu, enjoying the scenic drive along Bali’s coastline.

Arrive at Uluwatu and start your journey by exploring the stunning beaches that surround the area. Choose from renowned spots like Padang Padang Beach or Nyang Nyang beach or Dreamland Beach, where you can relax on the golden sands, swim in the azure waters, or explore the rugged coastline and natural caves.

Alternatively, visit the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park to discover Balinese art and culture.

Later in the afternoon, continue your day with a visit to Uluwatu Temple. Perched dramatically on towering cliffs that overlook the Indian Ocean, this ancient Hindu temple offers breathtaking panoramic views. Explore the temple grounds at your leisure, appreciating the intricate stone carvings and peaceful ambiance.

As the sun begins to set, make your way to Uluwatu Temple for the main highlight of the day—the Kecak fire dance performance. This traditional Balinese dance, accompanied by rhythmic chants and the dramatic illumination of fire torches, tells the epic tale of Ramayana. Marvel at the skillful performers and immerse yourself in the cultural richness of Bali’s artistic heritage against the backdrop of the sunset over the ocean.

After the mesmerizing performance, take some time to enjoy the stunning sunset views from Uluwatu Temple before heading back to Seminyak.
Day 8: Fly out of Denpasar International Airport.
